Linda Storlie of Northfield is the proud new owner of a collector’s miniature dollhouse from the winning ticket in the Save the Northfield Depot raffle drawing. The three-story, seven-room miniature house was a long-time project of EdDee Imm, who generously donated the house to the depot project as a fundraiser. Linda was “shocked and thrilled – it is truly an heirloom to be enjoyed and shared with others.” She has placed the fully decorated, furnished, and electrified house in the library of her residence, Village on the Cannon, where many can enjoy the exquisite detail.
Save the Northfield Depot is grateful to EdDee Imm for the donation and to the hundreds of people who purchased raffle tickets. The raffle added $1,740 to the fund to move and refurbish the 1888 depot. Linda noted that she was pleased to purchase the ticket for a good cause and was very surprised that she won. Many tickets were purchased chiefly in support of the depot project. Such was the case with the first drawn name, George Kinney, who graciously agreed to the drawing of a second ticket. Rob Schanilec generously provided space for the display of the house at By All Means Graphics in the weeks previous to the drawing at Winter Walk.
